Superior Stock Nitrate Reductase (YNaR1) Reagents
for Automated Nitrate Analysis (FIA, CFA, etc)
Autoanalyzer Users:
Replace your cadmium
column with reliable, selective, and environmentally benign YNaR1 enzyme
reagents. The NaR-based automated analysis was originally demonstrated
with NECi corn leaf NADH-NaR (1) and subsequently shown to work even better
with NECi Superior Stock NaR called YNaR1.
NECi has developed reagent
packs for Continuous Flow Analysis (CFA) and Flow-Injection Analysis (FIA)
instruments based on the published method (1, 2) and in-house R&D at NECi.
Protocols and reagent packs are available for specific
instruments.

Method proven to work with precision equal to cadmium
reduction method using CFA
automated nitrate analysis (1, 2).

Linear regression
of surface- and ground-water samples determined by automated air-segmented
continuous flow analysis at the USGS NWQL using cadmium reduction (CdR,
x-axis) and nitrate reductase reduction (YNaR1, y-axis) methods as described
(1), except that nitrate reductase purified from corn-leaves (NaR) was
replaced by double the amount of Superior Stock Nitrate Reductase (YNaR1).
EDTA concentration was 750 times greater than used in (1).
Contact NECi with your
specific reagent needs to adapt your CFA/FIA equipment for nitrate analysis
with NaR!
