These are the best nitrate test kits available.  Accuracy comparable to ion chromatography and nitrate autoanalyzers.  These kits and reagent packs provide quantitative data, even in difficult samples.   Fresh and salt water – anything aqueous.

• Standard Range NTK's are unaffected by highly colored samples, common water contaminants, or pH extremes.
• Low Range NTK's let you test nitrate levels down to 0.05 ppm in the lab, even in salt water!
• Skill level: use of pipets and a colorimeter required.
• Accuracy:  to 3 decimal places (e.g. 0.554 ppm).

User-supplied reagents:  distilled or deionized water for All NTK.  Hydrochloric acid (3 N HCl ) for L-NTK.

Use a Standard Range kit:  For samples near the EPA limit.  Test water samples for regulatory compliance.  Test Drinking Water for safety.  Sample types: wells, streams, lakes, rivers, estuaries, wastewater, sea water.  Test Agricultural samples for nutrient levels, feed safety, PSNT: plant, soil, manure, Aquaculture, and feed crops. 

Choose a Low Range kit: For samples with very low nitrate content. Environmental samples, or those for Biomedical Research.
