INTRODUCTION

This is our first newsletter after a long break...NECi has been busy during this period.  We have a new form of Nitrate Reductase (NaR) for sale, which is vastly improved over the original corn leaf NaR we have sold for many years.  New NECi Superior Stock NaR (also called YNaR1) is really superior - so read about it in this issue.  In addition, we have developed two new Nitrate Test Kit products and also describe them in this issue.

NECi has introduced 3 new products:

• Superior Stock Nitrate Reductase (YNaR1)

• Automated Reagent Kits (ARK)

• Agricultural Nitrate Test Kits (Ag-NTK)

New NECi Superior Stock NaR improves all of NECi Nitrate Test Kits (NTK) and has makes possible new products such as ARK and Ag-NTK.  Development of NECi Superior Stock NaR as a commercial enzyme was funded at NECi by SBIR grants from NIH, while the development of ARK and Ag-NTK were funded at NECi by SBIR grants from USDA and done in cooperation with various collaborators.
